Cookie policy
Last updated: 8 September 2026
Cookies are small files saved in your browser. This page describes the analytics and advertising tools the site provides for, and how to manage your preferences.
Analytics and marketing tools load after you consent. From the banner you can accept them, refuse them or pick categories. Your choice is stored in your browser.
1. Strictly necessary cookies
This site is made of static files: no login, no basket, no sessions, so it uses no technical cookies. The only thing it saves in your browser is the record of your cookie choice, so it does not have to ask again on every page.
| Name | Type | What it does | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| ac-consenso-v1 | localStorage, not a cookie | Remembers which categories you accepted or refused, so the banner does not come back. | Until you clear your browser data or change your preferences |
This item exists to keep your preferences and is not used for advertising.
2. Analytics cookies
They switch on only if you accept the "Analytics" category. They go through Google Tag Manager, the container from which I switch measurement tools on, and today they feed Google Analytics 4, which tells me how many people visit the site, where they come from and which pages they read. These are aggregate numbers and I do not use them to identify you as an individual.
| Name | Provider | What it does | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Ireland Ltd. | Tells visitors apart, pseudonymously. | 2 years |
| _ga_<ID> | Google Ireland Ltd. | Keeps the Google Analytics 4 session state. | 2 years |
| _gid | Google Ireland Ltd. | Tells visitors apart within a single day. | 24 hours |
Provider's policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
3. Marketing cookies
They switch on only if you accept the "Marketing" category. They measure the results of advertising campaigns and show ads to people who have already visited the site. You can refuse them from the banner and carry on browsing.
The Meta pixel measures campaigns on Facebook and Instagram. It loads after consent to the Marketing category.
The Google Ads cookies listed in the table concern the advertising tools, when active. Using them requires consent to the Marketing category.
| Name | Provider | What it does | Duration |

4. Fonts, images and third party resources
Fonts and images are hosted on the site's own server. To display them, your browser does not have to connect to Google Fonts or any other outside service.
Stylesheets and page code are hosted on the site too. There are no embedded maps, videos or chat widgets. The external analytics and marketing tools are described in the sections above.
The WhatsApp and social buttons are plain external links. When you open one, you reach a service that handles data under its own policy.
5. Transfers outside the European Union
Google and Meta may also process the data collected in the United States. The transfer relies on the adequacy decision of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and on the standard contractual clauses adopted by the two providers. If you refuse these categories, the site does not load the corresponding tracking tools.
6. How to change your preferences
At the foot of every page there is a Cookie preferences: button: it reopens the banner and lets you change or withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal takes effect immediately on the next page load.
You can also delete or block cookies from your browser settings. The instructions differ from browser to browser and you will find them in the help pages for Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge.
7. What happens if you refuse
You can read every page and use the contact form. The tools in the categories you refused are not loaded.
